To impact with our actions on the welfare and educational development of the children we work with.

Mission

To raise awareness in our student body that it is our duty, as a community, to help improve the quality of life for those who are economically and socially challenged.

 

Charity Core Values

  • Purpose: We find joy and feel passionate about giving hope and inspiration to those in need; showing people that there are others who care about them.
  • Altruism: We believe in kindness, compassion and generosity, and share a selfless concern for the well-being of others.

Sponsor a Child

The “Sponsor a Child” program is a 10-year partnership between The British School Caracas and Fundación Madre María Luisa Casar. Together, we provide high school scholarships to students from Colegio U.E. Jenaro Aguirre Elorriaga, located in the 24 de Marzo barrio of Petare in Caracas, Venezuela.

Over the past decade, our dedicated community has united to financially support and sponsor 105 students, ensuring they can successfully finish their secondary education.This initiative transforms lives by breaking economic barriers through academic opportunity. TBSC takes immense pride in how our community works together to provide this essential sponsorship. All scholarships directly empower a student by opening doors to future university degrees and professional careers. We look forward to continuing this impactful journey and changing lives together.

TBSC Christmas Single 2022

The TBSC Music Department recorded the TBSC Charity Christmas Single 2022 with the participation of our students (voices and instruments). The single, called “Santa is coming to Caracas”, can be purchased online on the following link (all proceeds will go to RISE charities):
